Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP)

The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is an International Catholic Organization of lay persons, founded in Paris in 1833 by Frederic Ozoram.

In Goa-Velha Parish, it was started or founded by Br. C. K. Mathew, when Fr. Santo Antonio was the Spiritual Adviser in the year 2003.

  • Vincentians are called to be witness for Christ by manifesting, through works of charity, their love for their neighbour in need in when they see Christ.
  • Vincentians helps the Church in the upliftment of the Suffering poor, sick and the needy.

*Any member of the parish can join the society when he or she is approved by the S.S.V.P Committee
